ANCIENT WORDING is inspired by geometric patterns and ornaments that can be found in many old – sometimes ancient – cultures. In ancient pictorial languages, the use of basic shapes such as squares, triangles and rhombuses led to impressive testimonies of human expressiveness. Simplicity and conciseness are the reasons why the fascination for universal shapes remains unbroken to this day. The possibilities for playfully exploring them and creating ever new compositional contexts seem endless.
